Project Manager Positioning, Navigation, and Timing’s (PM PNT) Dismounted team accomplished a major milestone this month, completing Initial Operational Test and Evaluation (IOT&E) for the Dismounted Assured PNT System (DAPS) GEN II. IOT&Es are an important step toward reaching Full Rate Production and Initial Operational Capability, and are opportunities to estimate systems’ operational effectiveness and suitability and refine logistics support requirements.
